Today’s RickAShea Day was a success!

We had the honor of bringing the RickAShea experience to the amazing seniors at an independent living facility. We treated them to a relaxing spa day featuring hand massages, meaningful conversation, and special gift bags filled with love (and shea butter, of course!).

I even learned that bingo happens every Wednesday at 2PM—and they don’t play when it comes to bid whist and spades!

Most importantly, many of the residents shared that they never get to experience anything like this. The smiles, the laughs, the connection—it meant the world.

Grateful to bring a little peace and pampering into their day. Can’t wait to come back!

So... dad called yesterday, says he's not feeling well. Stated he's been at Trinity hospital waiting to be seen since Thursday morning. When asked if he'd eaten, he said no. Well you know my dad is from the South so we offered everyone in the emergency room . Popeyes chicken, red beans and rice, Cole slaw and mashed potatoes with gravy. Shame on you Covid for making times so hard for people in need. I stayed with him from 8p to 1a. Called just now, he's still sitting there but says he feels okay. Lord hear our prayer 🙏.
